Jonathan received an engineering degree and Masters degree in applied mathematics from Ecole Polytechnique. After obtaining his PhD in mathematics from University Paris V under the supervision of Pr. Mathieu Rosenbaum and CFM chairman Jean-Philippe Bouchaud, he joined the music industry start-up Sonalytic where he developed cutting-edge machine-learning-based techniques for audio identification. The start-up was later acquired by Spotify, where he served as senior research scientist and led various research projects in the areas of music analysis and music creation. He is now director of R&D at Neural Concept.
